Permethrin SFR 36.8% is a broad spectrum insecticide for surface pests like ants, spiders, flies etc. It will not treat subsurface pests like grubs or repel animals like raccoons. It is likely too late to put down any grub control products in northern areas: you want to wait until next year before egg hatch.

While we do sell animal repellents, most of these will not be labeled for control of raccoons. This is because raccoons are scavengers, so smells may attract them more thinking there is a food source nearby. In general, repellents are also behavior modifiers, so their efficacy can vary.
