We use a professional service, but they come once a month and we continue to see the little varmints on a daily basis once the lights go out. Pivot IGR is an insect growth regulator that inhibits the reproductive cycle of the roaches, so that they are unable to reproduce any longer. It can be mixed with certain insecticides as per labeled instructions, but it's not a stand alone treatment. It's recommended to check with your current pest control service to see what they are currently using so that you can be sure that the Pivot IGR can be used in conjunction with their treatment methods. You may benefit by adding a bait gel to your current treatment regimen if they aren't currently using any. A great one to try would be Advion Roach Bait Gel
