Will Sedgehammer kill the box privet?

I have a hedge of box privet. Will it get killed if I spray the nutgrass? Can I mow the nutgrass and apply the chemical?

Answer:

SedgeHammer Plus Herbicide will not kill box privet, but you should avoid any contact with desirable plants. If you choose to mow before application, you should wait 2 days to apply or wait 2-3 days after mowing to apply. It would be best to cut it down and treat the stump or physically remove it completely.
