Will Southern AG Thuricide BT Caterpillar Control control coddling moth larvae? Can it be sprayed below the trees to control them?

Answer:

Southern AG Thuricide BT Caterpillar Control does not list codling moths as a targeted insect on the product label.  According to an article by the UCLA IPM, Bacillus thuringiensis has been found ineffective for the treatment of codling moths.  You may consider Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew Concentrate instead, which is labeled to control codling moths, and can safely be applied to lawns, ornamentals, home vegetable gardens, and fruit and citrus trees if used as directed on the label.
