I used the Southern Ag chelated iron at a rate of 1 oz. Per gallon and sprayed on some gardenias and some yellowing St. Augustine at the end of October while temps were still in the 80’s during the day with no visible change. Is the dosage too low? The water I mixed it in had a PH of 6.5
Southern Ag Chelated Liquid Iron can be applied in the fall if your lawn/plants are showing signs of irion deficiency, it is applied at 1 tablespoon per gallon. It typically can take about 7-10 days to obtain full color. Please view the full product label for more information. It is applied in the spring for best results when new growth is emerging.
