We followed the directions early in the spring. Now we are seeing aphids fall from the tree. Is this typical? How long will this go on?
Yes, it is common to see dead or dying insects after treating with a systemic product such as Fertilome Tree and Shrub Systemic Insect Drench. You would not see something as small as eggs falling from the tree, but you may see insects that die after feeding on treated plants. You may see dying insects for several weeks, depending on the size the population was before treatment.
