I have a snake that has somehow gotten into the crawl space beneath my home. The area is enclosed and dark all of the time. Will the trap work in this space. The instructions say that the snake will seek the dark space of the trap.
Snake Guard Snake Traps do offer a snake a dark area, but that is not the only reason they would enter the trap. Snakes also like small confined areas to hide and this trap would also offer them that. You should also place the trap directly in their travel path, so they naturally slither right into it. Place traps right up against and parallel to the wall near doors, vents, windows or other suspected entry/exit point.
