Will the Soil Kit detect the Sugar Cane Mosaic Virus as well?

Answer:

No, the Soil Kit does not test for viruses or diseases and should be used to help determine what fertilizer, lime, or nutrients are needed for healthier soil. Iron, zinc, pH levels, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, manganese, magnesium, and boron levels of the soil will be tested.   For assistance with lawn disease/virus identification, we would recommend contacting your County Extension Office for assistance.
