I was wondering if mixing these together would "repel" mosquitos if sprayed around decks and porches?
Talstar P uses an active ingredient that has been proven to show repellent tendencies; however, it is not the type of "true repellent" to keep insects away. The area will only be slightly repellent for maybe a day after the application. Talstar is designed more to provide a long residual to continue to kill those insects that contact a treated area. "Repellent" insecticides, such as Talstar P, are not detected until the insect you're treating comes in contact with the product. It will give off a "tingling" sensation to the insect, but by then, it will be too late for the insect. Archer is an Insect Growth Regulator and is not a repellent.
