Will this kill gnats!

We think they are gnats. They are attracted to light, food when we are eating, coffee and other drinks. We used the old apple cider vinegar trick by windows with yellow sticky traps and caught a ton but not able to kill the one or two that seem to always harass when eating or working at laptop or computer.

Answer:

Distance IGR is just an insect growth regulator that prevents young from maturing.  It does not actually kill anything. Having a positive identification of the pest you are actually targeting will help us to make a proper recommendation. You may catch a gnat and contact your local cooperative extension office for help identifying the pest.
