Yes, Termidor SC can kill wasps and eliminate their colonies, but it's not a "knockdown" product that will kill them immediately. Termidor is a liquid insecticide that's applied to the outside foundation walls of a structure to create a treated area. Insects can't see, smell, taste, or avoid the liquid, so they come into contact with it, ingest it, and share it with each other, unaware that it will kill them. The active ingredient in Termidor, fipronil, clings to the insects and transfers back to the nest, eliminating the other wasps inside. Depending on the size of the colony, you should see complete results within 1–3 weeks.
