I understand that the N is quick release, but will it have a quick effect on helping to acidify the soil? I don't need the N, I need the lower the pH quickly to tackle Take All Root Rot.
Hi-Yield Ammonium Sulfate 21-0-0 has a lower percentage of sulfur so you might want to try something like Hi-Yield Soil Sulfur with a 90% sulfur. Unfortunately all sulfur products used to raise the PH will take weeks to be do so.
