Peggy from New Oxford, Pa writes

Will Triad affect my edible garden plants if it accidentally gets on them? Will it be safe to eat them?

I live in a retirement community. The Grounds Comm. sprayed our lawn which is right beside my kitchen garden. My neighbor’s Monarch caterpillars all died right after the spraying. Now we are wondering if it is safe to eat our vegetables.

Answer:

Triad Select Herbicide is not labeled to be used on anything edible.  It would be recommend to discard anything that was sprayed.
