Will Triad Select kill off horsetail weed?

Horsetail weed is coming up in our Myrtle. Will Triad Select kill the weed and Myrtle? Do I need to wipe the horsetail weed?

Answer:

Triad Select Herbicide is not labeled for horsetail.
 
Diquat Water Weed and Landscape Herbicide will kill horsetail. Horsetail is very hard to control, and it can be tough to properly penetrate through the plant. When using the Diquat, you will need to mix it at the rate of 2-4oz per gallon of water and mix it with an 80% Nonionic surfactant. This could harm the Myrtle, so be sure to spot treat as best you can.
