Would Bonide Hot Pepper Wax Animal Repellent RTU be an effective way to stop my dog that likes to chew up my drip irrigation lines?

Dogs are not on the label for for Bonide Hot Pepper Wax Animal Repellent RTU. A better product would be Messinas Dog and Cat Stopper Trigger Bottle spray.
