It also performs well in shady areas, as long as it receives two to four hours of sunlight. 5-star has high disease resistance to brown patches of fungus which can occur in humid and hot areas along with being drought tolerant. Keep in mind that all grass seed must be tested, and there are expiration dates listed on the bag.
