I would like to foam between wall studs, but I am concerned about mold.

I have seen the demonstrations regarding placing foam in wall voids. Should I be concerned about the fact that it is now wet in the wall void and can cause mold to form?

Answer:

Fungus and mold will only form in a condition where constant moisture is continued to be introduced into the area.  This happens from a leaky pipe, roof leak, foundation leak or other water conditions that are continually wetting the same area over and over.  When you are foaming a wall void that is normally dry, you are not introducing enough moisture into the wall for fungus or mold to form.  Only if you had a constant moisture situation over a long period of time would you have fungus or mold form.
