Would Merit 75WP be effective on root aphids that are on my calocasia?

I just brought a new calocasia Pharaoh's Mask home and found it had root aphids. Could this take care of them without hurting my plant?

Answer:

We apologize that the product is discontinued. Merit 75 WP does offer a rate of 0.25 tsp per 2.5 gallons of water for aphids as directed on the product label.
