Yard Gard Mole Repellent is made with all natural ingredients with no harmful chemicals to prevent moles from deterring your lawns, gardens, turf and golf courses. It is not harmful and is safe to use around families and pets. Made with a time release formula, it will keep moles away for months and will not wash away like liquid repellents. The ingredients create a two feet repelling barrier beneath the lawn’s surface known as “No Mole Zone” and moles will not cross this zone onto your lawn’s surface. It is effective for months and also does not contain predator urine that can cause fear and confusion in pets. Use with a broadcast or drop spreader in lawns, gardens, turf and golf courses. Comes in a 20 lb. bag and covers approximately 5,000 square feet.
Easily applies using our hand held shaker containers, hand spreader or push spreader. Water in granules for 30 minutes 2x per week. Apply water to area again after 7 days. Watch unwanted critter leave for months
Apply Yard Gard by spreader to lawns, gardens, mulched areas and around shrubs. Water the treatment areas twice per week for the first two weeks; water releases the ingredients. For best results allow 7 to 14 days for the ingredients to migrate through the soil.
Set spreader to deliver medium application. Consult your spreader instructions for settings equivalent to the Scott Basic Spreader setting of 3.
This package size of 20 lbs. (9.1 kg) will cover approximately 5,000 square feet at a medium spreader setting. One application at medium flow rate should perform satisfactorily. This product affects the animals' sense of smell and taste, which conditions the animal to forage elsewhere; it does not kill the animal. Since you are conditioning a wild animal, the exact number of animals foraging in the treated areas is usually unknown; additional applications may be necessary in 30 days in order to condition all animals involved. Heavy or thick layers or dead grass may inhibit the product granules from contacting the soil/ground and interfere with dispersing the ingredients into the soil; if this is the case, remove excess dead grass prior to the application of Yard Gard.
