I just moved in to a residence in a national forest. My dog has had a problem with fleas in the past from picking them up in public and bringing them home. I am looking for something to teat the yard to prevent fleas, and ticks since they are an issue in our area (havent seen any in the yard yet). Plus general pests. There are multiple trees and general shade in the yard if that matters. I also have a family of Sandhill cranes that live along the edge of my yard as my yard borders a large pond. My aunt is a naturalist and is recommending a liquid treatment to help avoid the chemical getting in to the wildlife's food chain. I have no idea where to start looking, what advice or tips can you offer me?
I apologize for the delay in replying to your request. We have many flea and tick control products that are all natural. EcoVia EC is a popular choice for areas near bodies of water and where animals may frequent. We also have many products by the company Wondercide for use on animals and some for outdoor use for these pests as well. We also have online treatment guides for Fleas and for Ticks to help you with how and where to treat.
