Yellowing of Centipede after spraying Blindiside under 80 degree weather.

I sprayed Blindside consistent with the rate on the label on centipede early in the morning when the temperature was around 76 degrees five days ago. The temperature increased over the next few days to the mid-90s. The centipede is has turned yellow. What is the likelihood that the centipede will recover, if I water and maintain the lawn appropriately?

Answer:

It is possible for turfgrass to have some temporary discoloration after you have applied Blindside Herbicide WDG. Per the product label, "If turf discoloration occurs after an application of Blindside Herbicide turfgrass will generally recover with new growth. Discolored leaf tissue will be removed with mowing. To reduce potential for discoloration, do not apply Blindside Herbicide on turfgrass that is weakened by weather, mechanical, chemical, disease or other related stress. Maintain proper cultural practices such as adequate moisture and fertility levels to promote healthy turf growth."
