You answer about pine bark beetles is in error and should be clarified

Pine bark beetles are longhorned beetles (genus Dendroctonus) whose larvae are round-headed borers, both of which are listed on the label. Same for imidacloprid. This is not to say that either product is 100 percent effective because infestations of flat-headed borers are difficult to treat after they reach the heartwood. But adults must chew their way in and out through sapwood where they are susceptible.

Answer:

Thank you for your feedback. Our answer comes as a result of much research and speaking to industry experts and field researchers. Pine bark beetles have been shown time and again through univeristy field testing that they are not controlled by systemic insecticides such as dinotefuran and imidacloprid. In this case we do stand by our original answer. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
