You can apply the 0-0-25 Liquid Potassium Solution when temperatures at the time of application are under 85 degrees. This does not mean that the temperatures cannot exceed that during the day, only that at the time of application they should be under this range, ideally in late evening just before sun down. We recommend applying when rain is not expected within 6 hours at minimum, but ideally 24 hours after an application to allow for adequate time to be absorbed into the plant and soil. As long as you use adequate water volume during application you would not need to water in after applying to the lawn. The manufacturer recommends applying every 7-21 days as your lawn needs throughout the season.

The amount of product used will depend on the amount of potassium needed, in lbs., and that will be mixed in no less than the 1.5 gallons of water.
0 - 0 - 25 Liquid Potassium Solution is very specific about the application you need to make over a certain area. That amount of potassium you need, will determine how much of the product you will need per gallon of water. We do not recommend that you apply the product with a hose-end sprayer, but if that is the only unit you have to make an application you will need to make sure you can calibrate your hose-end sprayer, the range is from 5 to 23 oz of the product over 1,000 square foot area. 0 - 0 - 25 Liquid Potassium Solution is not labeled to kill Spanish moss. So while this product contains Soluble Potash - 25% we can not guarantee it will kill the moss.
0 - 0 - 25 Liquid Potassium Solution is not specifically labeled to control Spanish Moss from trees. We do carry the Southern AG Insecticides Liquid Copper Fungicide which is labeled for Spanish Moss.
We have heard that some people do use 0-0-25 Liquid Potassium Solution for eradicating Spanish Moss however since this treatment is not specifically listed on the label we cannot advise on a usage rate.
