Turf Applications:
Liquid Potassium can be used on warm season, transitional and cool season grass. It can correct potassium deficiencies caused by poor soil conditions or stress. Use Liquid Potassium throughout the growing season beginning in early spring, and as an additional source of Potassium to supplement other fertilization programs. Apply on tees and greens using no less than 1.5 gallons of tank mix per 1,000 sq. ft. Liquid Potassium is compatible with most other technical turf products. Always use a jar test before mixing pesticides and fertilizers in your tank.
pH Adjustment:
As a pH booster, 0-0-25 will adjust both water pH and soil. It is important to check the pH of any mix prior to use. Each soil mix will have a different buffering capacity (resistance to a change in pH levels). For example, bark is more resistant than other soilless mixes. Be sure to check the pH of your mix after each application. 0-0-25 can be mixed with other lime or flowable lime products to make their slurry more flowable and increase their performance.
Mixing:
Liquid Potassium must first be diluted with water prior to mixing with other nutrientsor technical materials. Liquid Potassium is an alkaline material with a pH of 12 and should not be added as a concentrate to highly acidic materials. When using a phosphorus source, such as 0-30-0, always first dilute with appropriate amounts of water. Add Liquid Potassium to the tank mix slowaly while continuously mixing. A small amount of effervescence will occur. Add products to mix in this order: 1. wettable powders, 2. flowables, 3. water solubles, 4. surfactants, 5. emulsifiable concentrates. Be sure to agitate during each addition. Be sure each product is mixed well before adding the next. Apply all of mixture in same day. Always use a jar test before mixing pesticides and fertilizers in your tank.

Great product for potassium deficiency
By Gregory on 03/26/2021
If you have soil that is low in potassium, this is a great product that is easy to use. Low potassium can cause your lawn to stress badly in the summer heat. And after putting this treatment on my lawn in the spring, it already looks much greener and more vibrant than ever before.

Works good for Zoysia damaged by brown patch fungus
By Randy on 04/23/2021
Used https://www.domyown.com/strobe-50wg-p-14515.html to kill and control the Brown patch fungus in our new Zoysia lawn in north Florida. (Was told that the ugly doughnut shaped rings that brown patch causes likely resulted from me overwatering the newly laid sod). Researched and learned that applying potassium to the damaged areas would promote healing of the areas damaged by brown patch fungus. I mixed between 4 and 8 ounces of this potassium to each gallon of water and applied with a pump-up sprayer every ten days to 2 weeks. Started noticing new growth from the damaged areas within a week or so of the first application. Applying to the damaged areas did not cause any splotchiness in the turf that sometimes happens when regular fertilizer is not evenly applied to the lawn. Highly recommend this for repair of damaged areas in Zoysia lawns,

What temperature should be good to apply potassium? Is it rainfast? Do I need to water after applying? How long apart the I can apply second time when my potassium in my lawn is low?
You can apply the 0-0-25 Liquid Potassium Solution when temperatures at the time of application are under 85 degrees. This does not mean that the temperatures cannot exceed that during the day, only that at the time of application they should be under this range, ideally in late evening just before sun down. We recommend applying when rain is not expected within 6 hours at minimum, but ideally 24 hours after an application to allow for adequate time to be absorbed into the plant and soil. As long as you use adequate water volume during application you would not need to water in after applying to the lawn. The manufacturer recommends applying every 7-21 days as your lawn needs throughout the season.

60% of the product in one 1000 SF application?
For 0 - 0 - 25 Liquid Potassium Solution "Apply on tees and greens using no less than 1.5 gallons of tank mix per 1,000 sq. ft." is referencing the amount of water. The amount of product used will depend on the amount of potassium needed, in lbs., and that will be mixed in no less than the 1.5 gallons of water.
