Yes, you will use 4-6 oz. of product per 1000 square feet. This will mix in 1-2 gallons of water. Be sure to remember the amount of product is what is important when using Clearys 3336F Fungicide. Water acts as a carrier, however, you do need to use a sufficient amount of water to get the product in the area.
Per the Clearys 3336F Fungicide product label the rate for soil drench applications is 8-16 fl oz/100 gallon (or 1/2 to 1 teasoon per gallon). Soil drenching is only for the following diseases: Stem, Crown, and Root Rots caused by: Botrytis, Cylindrocladium, Fusarium, Gliocladium, Myrothecium, Penicillium, Ramularia,Rhizoctonia, Sclerotinia Black Root Rot (Thielaviopsis).
Apply as a drench or directed spray using hand held, mechanical, or motorized spray equipment, or as a chemigation drench or directed spray using applicable sprinkler irrigation systems, after seeding or sticking of cuttings (8 oz) or after transplanting (12-16 oz) to propagation beds, containers, pots, trays, or nursery or landscape beds at a rate to thoroughly soak the growing media through the root zone. A general guide is 0.25 -3 pints of finished mixture per sq ft depending on the media type and depth (about 4 oz per 4 inch pot or 8 oz per 6 inch pot). Repeat every 21-28 days for adequate crop protection.
Clearys 3336F Fungicide should not cause any discoloration to the lawn when used as directed. It should not be applied to lawns that are heat or drought stressed. There are a few different things that could be causing the damage to your lawn including fungus, insects or just general need of nutrients and boosts in the summer heat. If you dont know for certain what you have you may want to take an entire soil and grass sample to a local cooperative extension office or master gardener in your area to see if they can help you specifically identify what you have going on that could be affecting your lawn.
Clearys 3336F can be used for powdery mildew on Annual and Perennial Flowers when used as directed on the product label. Per the label: Apply when disease first appears and repeat every 7-14 days during disease period. Rotations and/or tank mix combinations with mancozeb (ProtectTM) or triadimefon can be utilized.
Eagle 20EW is specifically labeled to be used on dahlias for powdery mildew and could be used in rotation with Clearys. both would be applied directly to the plant foliage not the soil.
We would recommend using them in separate applications. For brown patch, you can apply Clearys 3336F Fungicide (2 applications, 14 day intervals),then Eagle (2 applications at 14 day intervals) and then Heritage (28 day intervals) for a good rotation program.
If you are spraying Clearys 3336F Fungicide on your lawn, the minimum re-treatment interval time frame is 14 days unless the label states otherwise.
There is no set time restriction between seeding and applying Clearys 3336F Fungicide.
When treating with Clearys 3336F Fungicide for Brown Patch on Tall Fescue, you'll need to look at the rate on the label for Large Brown Patch. For active fungus you will need to use the higher curative rate of 4 oz per 1,000 square feet. For preventative measures, you will use 2 oz per 1,000 square feet.
You can rotate back to the Clearys 3336F actually. You just want to rotate between products after 2-4 applications. Azoxy 2SC is another option just much more expensive.
When applying Clearys 3336F Fungicide it is really just common sense as far as safey, wear long sleeves, pants, avoid skin contact etc. If you feel safer wearing gloves, masks and goggles you should do so, or if you are spraying overhead it would be highly recommended. The manufacturer lists such warnings on the label to be sure they are covered if an applicator does not follow instructions.
For current brown patch issues, Clearys 3336F would be good to use. For prevention, Heritage G would be a good option.
Clearys 3336F Fungicide does not specify on the label that a surfactant is necessary. You could potentially add a surfactant for fungicides when treating very waxy plants, but it would not be required.
Clearys 3336F Fungicide should not be used when temperatures are above 85 degrees.
Yes, Clearys 3336F Fungicide can be used safely in your centipede to treat the labeled diseases.
While the Clearys 3336F Fungicide is safe to use around the base of the tree, it likely will not control the disease you are treating for if you use it in that manner. Every disease has a specific way it must be treated in order to be controlled, a specific rate to be used, and specific time and retreatment interval in order to see full control or prevention. We would need to know specifically what disease you are treating for in order to better direct you and know if a base spray would be of any benefit to you. You can also look directly at the label for the disease you are treating for and see what instructions it has next to it for control. If foliar spray is the only option listed, then spraying the base of the tree will do nothing for you.
We would recommend for you to follow Clearys 3336F Fungicide's label to get the results you need. Keep in mind that using more product than what's recommended does not give you better results and that St. Augustine grass can be sensitive as well to strong doses of chemicals.
