battery life

battery life is not very good if you use the trap a lot. seems like the 8 AA batteries last 16 to 20 hrs of switch on time which is not a lot if you use it daily like i do for starlings. the four scre…

battery life is not very good if you use the trap a lot. seems like the 8 AA batteries last 16 to 20 hrs of switch on time which is not a lot if you use it daily like i do for starlings. the four screws holding the battery case are difficult to get out/in, i replaced them with a hex head screws but still a pain. else wise the trap works well. as far as trap size, my experience is the bigger the better. the hand trigger is great, small and compact.
