The Acephate Pro 75 SP Insecticide is an effective solution for control of fire ants. It works best in crop and non-crop areas, greenhouses, nurseries, turf, and ornamental use. The active ingredient is acephate, a water soluble insecticide readily absorbed by plant roots and foliage to give systematic control of feeding insects. Insect pests are generally controlled more effectively by this solution through ingestion than by contact. Application of Acephate Pro 75 SP to maintain control should be repeated only as directed. Do not apply under conditions involving possible drift to food, forage or other plantings that might be damaged or the crops thereof rendered unfit for sale, use or consumption.
THIS PRODUCT IS VERY TOXIC TO BIRDS/POULTRY. NEVER PLACE PRODUCT ANYWHERE IT CAN BE ACCESSED BY BIRDS/POULTRY.

The Truth
By Caroline on 01/28/2018
If you have roaches you won't have them long. I had roaches but the infestation was not bad. I was treating my home with boric acid but it did not rid my home of the pest, just kept them at bay. But after treating my home with this they were completely gone. Sprinkled it along my baseboards and cabinets and they were gone. It's been four months and still no roaches. Highly recommended. This stuff is the truth. Worth every cent.

The best for killing roaches
By Williams on 11/08/2019
I have ordered several products on this site for treating roaches from neighboring apts. Those products would not kill them but mostly because of their smell kept the roaches from infesting my space. I drill a hole in my adjoining walls and treat directly behind the walls as I do not like spraying these chemicals in my living areas. A friend recommended this product and raved about the results she had, so I decided to try it in a new apt I moved to that was infested with roaches. It was bad. I cleaned the space thoroughly and sealed visible gaps. I then swept this product around the edge of my whole apt. I drilled my holes in the wall and placed the product behind the walls using a duster I purchased online. I did this on Oct 2nd. After returning to the apt the next day, I saw dead roaches throughout. I have not seen a roach since Oct 4th and I've been in my place for over a month. This stuff stinks so bad but the smell begins to subside. I ordered another can as I do not want to ever to without it while I'm renting.

Great product
By Linda on 11/12/2016
This product eliminated my fire ants and I will be purchasing more. Only drawback for me was that I was buying it to apply to a horse pasture, and wasn't aware that it shouldn't be used for that. On the website under Pet Safe it reads Yes, if used according to product label. After speaking with the owner of the company I switched to a different product that's OK to use around animals, and will be purchasing more of Acephate Pro 75 SP for my lawn only.

Recommend this for any type of bug problem.
By Darian on 01/15/2021
I had roaches pretty bad in my apartment. I tried almost every alternative for killing roaches , nothing worked. I finally looked around google for something a little more powerful, and came across this powered substance. I've used a type of powder before, it's just hard to find in stores. Finally I ordered this one and used it instantly. Within a week I had no roaches in my apartment. Every now and then I'll see a dead one or one that's about to die but for the most part THERE GONE. Ps it smells really bad

I have a portable pump sprayer that holds one gallon of liquid. I intended to mix the powder with water to spray on or around some out door items as a prevention measuer. How much water to powder ration should I use?

If I shut my house up and put this in little bit mounds in each room of my house for 4 hours then aired out for 2 will it effective for roaches?
Acephate Pro 75 SP Insecticide is not labeled for indoor application and it is not labeled for roaches. We would recommend to check out our Roach Control Guide. Since treating for roaches usually takes more than one product, our Roach Control Kit Rotation A is a great place to start.
