    Q
Will the Advion Cockroach Bait Arena conflict with the Advion Ant Bait Arena if used close to each other?
    A

Since these use different bait attractants particular to the insects they are made for, we would not recommend using the Advion Cockroach Bait Arena and the Advion Ant Arena close to one another.

Example. you could place the ant arena on a window sill, counter top, under the sink and place the roach bait arena in another location, under cabinets, behind appliances, between dishwasher and refrigerator, etc.

    Q
Would a 4 year old bag of Advion Cockroach Bait Arenas still work?
I found a bag I used in a previous residence.
    A

The Advion Cockroach Bait Arena has a shelf life of 5 years. Any bait arenas that have not been used would still contain bait and be fine to use. Once in use, the arenas should be replaced every 3 months.

    Q
Advion bait arena vs Advion bait gel
What’s the difference between this and the Advion gel bait?
    A
The Advion Roach Bait Arenas are made for smaller roaches such as the Brown-Banded or German roaches. When dealing with the larger roaches such as the Palmetto Bugs (aka American Roaches) it may be better to use a roach bait gel such as The Maxforce FC Magnum or the Advion Roach Bait Gel. Please refer to our Roach Treatment Guide for more tips on how to eradicate this pest.

    Q
Is Advion Cockroach Bait Arena ok to use for a small infestation? Will it attract more than I'm already seeing?
I have been living in my current apartment since late October of 2023, I have seen about 1 roach once a month but just this week I have seen 2 within a few days apart. Will this just worsen my problem and attract more from other units? Or will it help get rid of the small infestation I have? I don't even see any shell casings or droppings but I don't want it to get that way until I do something about it..
    A

Advion Cockroach Bait Arena will help get rid of an infestation and only attracts those already in the area.  You may see more activity when using a bait especially if you are only seeing 1 or 2 at a time.  We would recommend reviewing our Inspection guide to confirm an infestation and our How to Prevent Roaches guide for the best advice if you are only seeing a few.
