Advion works every time - if you follow the instructions, Fire Ants are gone withing days. Extinguish works almost as well, but living in SC, I have found Advion to be the premier agent against Fire Ants. I have used both for over 5 years. Extinguish needs more care in application (sun, foraging, wet grass etc). But when applied appropriately works applied once in spring and once in fall. Advion needs application more often, usually 3 -4 times through the fire ant season. This is all my opinion, but I take fire ant infestation personally!

Works in 24 hours. Just sprinkle around mounď and forget it.

I used the Advion Fire Ant bait on 6 fire ant mounds and the colonies were completely destroyed within 2 days, very good product.

We've had European Fire Ants since we bought our house two years ago. They've gotten progressively worse, biting our children, eating our garden, invading every area of our outdoor life. We tried to stay away from chemicals, but nothing made a difference. One treatment and we've seen a massive reduction! WORTH EVERY PENNY!

We have used this before and we have huge mounds of fire ants. They take it in and that does it! Grandkids are ready to play. Thanks!

I love this product. It is very effective and really does kill them, not just run them. It usually takes from 24 hrs to 2-3 days to see the result, but they do DIE! I was using Top Choice which is great also, but when I could no longer get it I decided to give this a try. This is my second purchase of Advion Fire Ant Bait and even though it is a bit on the spendy side, it is well worth it and when used correctly (it doesn't take much) it works great. Sometimes, I am too scotch with it and have to reapply, but that is my fault. I highly recomend this product.

The best ant bait I've ever used. Put it on the nest and then there gone. Most cases overnight. Best of all it has low toxicity for mammals, meaning cats and dogs.

Mowing the lawn and edging the sidewalk would land the pesky little fire ants on my ankles. Their bites itch for days. Now, whenever I see an ant hill pop up, I sprinkle a little Advion around the ant hill and they are gone the next day.

I have been using this for years. I tried a generic one, and it didn't work as well and took twice as much. I love the color of the granules and it makes me smile when I apply it, makes the task more enjoyable. I find that it works better if I spread it over the anthill in addition to the perimeter.

This product is the only one I've found that actually works. You must use it as recommended and check for ant activity after each rain. I wish all my neighbors would use it too.

I've never dealt with fire ants before until I moved to Florida. These things are vicious! I tried a few products earlier in the season. Not very effective. This product here... it's been about 4 weeks now. I havent seen or been bitten by one since the day after application. Definitely a great product.

I use it on fire ant mounds and it is working really well. The ants definitely take the bait down under and activity stops.

we purchased this property of 20 acres in tennessee and for the first year fought fire ants as we mowed using products containing bimithrin I believe, it seemed to just move the ants to a new location. I bought a herd electric spreader with a fire ant bait restriction plate that limits the amount of product spread as it is expensive. since spreading, we have not had to sprinkle anything to kill fire ants for 6 months. we spread 2 lbs/acre as suggested on all material I have read and it works well. Spread early spring, mid summer and fall. read up on the Herd spreader for large lawns or walk with the advion hand spreader/shaker bottle and I promise you will be pleased.

Great product. As soon as I sprinkled this on the ground, the ants were immediately attracted to it. I'll monitor it for a few more days to see if the colony starts dying down. But overall, I am very impressed

This is by far the easiest and most effective fire ant treatment I've used. Use it on all the hills you have and watch for new ones to pop up. Treat those and watch for new ones, rinse and repeat. Consistent use keeps the fire ants to a minimum.

I've used Advion bait for years and found it to be the quickest complete eliminator of fire ant colonies I've used. Highly recommend!

We started seeing dying ants within hours. A day later they were all gone. I would like more data on attractiveness and toxicity of the bait to household pets and other vertebrates.

I have controlled and eliminated most of the fire ants on my 3 acre property. I don't disturb the mound and sprinkle the granular product around the mound. They take it over night into the mound and they are gone.

I am very surprised and impressed that this product drastically cut down the fire ant population on my property with just one application. That application was last season. This season there are only a few fire ants around, and only in one area of the property. I will apply it again.

We have imported fire ants here in desert and when they bite it hurts. They have been foraging a lot lately and are around the property so after the rains I placed it out using the shaker top on the bottle and really didnt need to use that much - poof they are all gone - amazing really I followed them to the neighbors yard and shook some around the site as of yesterday not a single ant alive YAY Best stuff out the re I will use it again when I run out - gonna kill those little Mfrs bite me and find out lol

I’ve been spot treating the fire ants mounds near my sidewalk and driveway. It’s been very effective and simple to apply. Next treatment will be my five acre lot using a spreader hopefully it will be just as effective.

It’s a great product. I have a wide variety of ants this stuff works on. Even the leaf cutter ants and I could be wrong but this product isn’t design for it. Still works. My only problem where I live is the ants just keep coming back. I might look into bifen granules. This product does work though. 24 hours and ant colony is gone.
