Amdro Quick Kill Lawn & Landscape Insect Killer Granules application will not harm pets after the initial watering in has dried. Further rainfall will not "re-activate" the product making if un safe for pets to be around.
Per the product label, at minimum you should set your spreader at 3 for 1 lb per 1,000 square feet. There is a chart on the Amdro Quick Kill Insect Killer Directions Label that shows different spreaders and the setting to use. Amdro Quick Kill Lawn & Landscape Insect Killer Granules can be applied when grass is wet. You want to water in after application.
Amdro Quick Kill Lawn & Landscape Insect Killer Granules should not be mixed in a pump sprayer with water for an application. We recommend that you apply it using a granular spreader and then water in with hose, watering can or by rainfall. It should be applied in the lawn and landscaped areas and not on a concreted surface in the garage. Please let us know if you need anything else.

It is not used for snails and slugs and these require a different product, like the Sluggo Plus or the Niban Granular Bait which is labeled for more insects including ants. As long as you keep pets/children out of the area while you treat and until the product has had time to completely dry or settle, then it is safe for pets and people to return and resume normal activity.
You can apply lawn fertilizer a day or two after your application of Amdro Quick Kill Lawn & Landscape Insect Killer Granules has been watered in.
