If applied correctly armadillo scram is safe and effective at deterring the animals from the property. It works better as a preventative measure after trapping out the established armadillos. Hire a trapper or trap the animal yourself then use the repellent to discourage others from returning.

About time

It's about time one of the pest control companies took armadillos seriously. Up to now nothing much, short of a bullet, bothers them, but this, at least, keeps them away. It's not cheap, but it works. I apply soil insecticide several times per year, but they keep coming.

I have used this only once and the armadillo has not been back. Whether that is due to the product or moving on, I have no idea. But I will keep using it for the time being. Smells fine to me, all organic stuff so harmless to humans.
