Arrest Max Herbicide is specially designed to help control a wide range of annual and perennial grasses and grassy weeds. This selective herbicide is developed to ensure food plots stay lush and healthy while effectively get rids of unwanted weeds and grasses such as bermudagrass, barnyardgrass, broadleaf signalgrass, brome, crabgrass, fescue, foxtail, goosegrass, itchgrass, Johnsongrass, lovegrass, ryegrass, orchardgrass, and more. This liquid formula rainfast in about an hour and will control most grasses without harming alfalfa, clover, or any perennial food plot. It uses a simple mix rate so it is very easy to use, and it may be applied using small sprayer, four-wheeler or tractor sprayer. It is recommended to apply product in the spring or summer when grasses are growing actively, especially in the early stages of growth. It contains oil adjuvant but will increase effectiveness by adding a surfactant. Product comes in 1 pint (16 oz.) jug and covers about 1 acre.

TO SPRAY 1 ACRE:
Mix 1 pint of Arrest Max to 10-20 gallons of water. Fill spray tank about halfway with water, add 1 pint of Arrest Max then finish filling the tank.
SMALL SPRAYER MIX RATE:
1 ounce of Arrest Max per 1 gallon of water.

The grasses have a look of a feather duster on the top if that helps
Arrest Max Herbicide would be a good option for grassy weeds in food plots. You could be dealing with either brome or foxtail, but we apologize are not able to determine that based on a description. The Arrest Max is labeled for both, though.

Arrest Max Herbicide is safe to apply on established clover. It is applied when the first grass weed species in a mixed grass weed population reaches the specified growth stage for treatment.

Arrest Max Herbicide is a grass killer only and while we would not recommend spraying around grapes as very few products as listed as tolerable to it on the label, we would suggest contacting the manufacturer directly to confirm if any harm will be done if sprayer on grape vines. Arrest Max Herbicide should be applied and completely dried prior to allowing dogs/pets in the area (drying time can vary).
