    Great price on great product

    By Noah on 04/04/2013

This is the first time I have used Bayer Advanced, but my neighbor strongly recommended it, and he is a master gardener. The price on DoMyOwnPestControl was nearly 25% less than in local stores.

Q
Does Bayer Advanced 12 Month Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed II kill spider mites on conifers?

I found it last year at Lowes and Home Depot. Bayer 3 - 1 grandular and it worked great. Now all that I have been able to find is the liquid version that lasts 1 month. Help.

A
Bayer Advanced 12 Month Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed - Granules is a systemic insecticide but it does not work well for spider mites. For spider mites a topical foliage spray such as Talstar P would be a better choice but it will need to be reapplied 1 time per month through the season.
