Getting Rid Of Beetles Is Easy

beetleOne of the major problem beetles are the carpet beetles, which can cause large and annoying infestations. In fact, carpet beetle control and Japanese beetle control are some of the more common beetle control problems we see people facing. The U.S. is also seeing a rising problem with the Emerald Ash Borer.

The first step in knowing how to get rid of beetles is to understand the bugs, and realize why they might be coming around you in the first place.

Because there are so many different kinds of beetles in the world, in many cases it pays to only attempt to remove those that have the potential to cause damage to your property. For instance the powder post beetle is known to cause damage to wood much like termites and carpenter bees.

Beetle control is actually pretty simple, and can be accomplished through the use of one of the many different pyrethroid pesticides such as Cyfluthrin or Permethrin. By applying these types of products in and around your home you will be able to prevent the problems associated with overpopulation of some beetle species.
