I sprayed it on a roach, why didn't it kill the bug instantly?
Bengal Roach Spray is designed for total kill and not quick knockdown. Bengal Roach Spray is designed to irritate roaches before killing, which causes them to run out of their hiding places to die on surfaces where they can be picked up and disposed. Roaches that come into contact with Bengal Roach Spray will die in a few minutes to an hour.
Why did the roaches come back?
Bengal Roach Spray does not leave a lingering residue; it degrades over a few days or weeks and is no longer available to kill roaches. If your neighbors have roaches or they are brought back in to your house in boxes, sacks, old clothing or other infested materials, re-application will be necessary.

Cockroach Graveyard
By Hallie on 07/03/2016
My mom complained about cockroaches. I go to college but came back to the house for the summer. I deal with cockroaches at my apartment and had been unsuccessful at ridding my own home of them in the past. You would never see hers until nighttime. If you came in the kitchen and turned on a light they'd scatter. My mom had figured out they must be living behind the refrigerator. When she left town for a week she left a bottle of this on the counter to try. (It was more expensive, so foolishly I'd never tried it on my own problem before). That night, after putting the animals in the bedroom, I sprayed EVERYWHERE. Behind and under the fridge, behind the oven, by the trashcan, under ALL the counters, etc. Had no scent and I quietly went to bed. Next morning, what had been a clean kitchen floor and counter, became a cockroach graveyard. HUNDREDS of those disgusting insects were dead and strewn across the floor. It was so gross. I vacuumed the dead ones and repeated the following night. Same result but to a less intense degree. I'm repeating the ritual until I see no more (and probably once or twice after that for good measure). BEST PRODUCT EVER (and I've tried just about every product out there). This is unbelievably effective. Buying it for my own apartment now!!

Texas Best
By Tony on 02/16/2017
30 years ago I had a horrible problem with roaches at our house. I tried all the sprays that Home Depot, Lowes, and grocery stores had. It was as if I was spraying a water mist from a spray bottle. No relief. Then one day while visiting my mother-in-law my wife told her about our problem and she pulled out a can of Bengal and said "why don't you try this" We did. Man there were dead roaches everywhere. In just a few days our problem was over. Since then my wife and I retired and moved out to a ranch. Now I use it for a bad infestation of scorpions. It works great! It keeps them out of the house for about 3 months before I have to spray again. We find dead scorpions everywhere. There is a special Bengal spray for spiders and scorpions (green can) but the roach spray works just as well. The spider and scorpion spray kills them quicker but you have to be sure to wear a mask when spraying, it's powerful.

Can you mix an IGR, and can you use it in a fogger?
Bengal Roach Spray is a permethrin based product that uses a unique dry spray to get into deep crevices and cracks to control roaches where they live. Simply place the extension tube that comes with the can into the top of the can and press the spray button. This product is in a spray can of it's own, so it cannot be used in a fogger. The product will leave a residual and it can be reapplied every 4 weeks when used as directed.
One of our roach control kits would be recommended for roach control. These professional kits includes non-staining, low odor concentrated insecticide for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get Roach Bait Gel to help get rid of those roaches that like to hide. Baits can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, an Insect Growth Regulator is offered which will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals. The insecticide must be applied with a 1 gallon pump sprayer.

No, you should not spray any chemical including Bengal Roach Spray on electronics. If roaches are in electronics they are also elsewhere in your home and you need to treat the home.
