Full Application Instructions

Mixing Instructions

Fill the mixing tank halfway with clean water. Accurately measure and add the required amount of Berati 10 XC, then add the remaining water needed to reach the desired volume. Agitate the diluted solution consistently during mixing and application to maintain uniform distribution.

Berati 10 XC is mixed at 0.10 mL per gallon of water for each 1 ppm of paclobutrazol desired. Refer to the product label for crop-specific concentrations, maximum rates, and complete dilution instructions.

Spray Applications

Spray applications may only be made in enclosed areas, such as greenhouses, where spray drift outside the treated area cannot occur. Apply enough solution to thoroughly and uniformly wet plant stems without excessive runoff.

Use 1 to 2 quarts of spray solution per 100 sq. ft. of bench space for small plants, plug trays, or closely spaced containers. Use approximately 3 quarts per 100 sq. ft. for larger plants with developed canopies.

Allow at least 30 minutes after application before overhead irrigation or rain. Sequential applications may be made according to label directions to improve uniformity and reduce the risk of excessive growth regulation.

Drench Applications

Apply drenches uniformly to moist growing media. Do not allow more than 10% of the solution to run through the container.

When applying through sub-irrigation in saucers or benches, reduce the labeled conventional drench rate by 25% to 50%. When applying continuously through irrigation water, use 5% to 25% of the amount used for a single conventional drench.

Pre-Transplant Liner Dip Applications

Use liner dips only on well-rooted seedling plugs or rooted cuttings of bedding plants and herbaceous flowering or foliage plants. Allow the liner substrate to become moderately dry without permitting plants to wilt.

Immerse the roots and growing media in the treatment solution for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. The solution should cover at least the lower half of the liner cell. Do not treat poorly rooted or immature cuttings, and avoid liner dips where root-borne diseases could spread between plants.

Outdoor Nursery Applications

For outdoor commercial ornamental and nursery uses, follow foliar applications with irrigation within 24 hours to remove product from foliage and limit movement from the treated surface. When overhead irrigation is unavailable, allow the product to dry before rainfall. Do not apply when the growing media is saturated.

Use Restrictions

• Do not use on fibrous begonias or annual vinca.
• Do not reuse pots, trays, or containers that previously held plants or growing media treated with Berati 10 XC.
• Drench applications are not recommended for bedding plant plugs.
• Plant sensitivity and response vary by species and cultivar. Always conduct small-scale trials before treating a large crop.
