Have 5 acres. Seems like (but not really) thistle has gone from a few big weeds (and a lot of goldfinches!) in 2023, to an explosion of huge thistle patches this year (Spring, 2024). Even now have some inside fenced backyard where there was none). RoundUp doesn’t seem to do the trick.
Post-emergent herbicides applications of Torocity Herbicide (Generic Tenacity Herbicide) work best when the target weeds is young and actively growing and temperatures are between 65-85 degrees. We have a general lawn schedule here for reference.
