The tanks will not hold up to bleach, ammonia or any acidic product like that. If it is a water based carpet cleaning product without any of those other chemicals in it, then it should be fine. You should be aware that if you use bleach, it will void any warranty on the sprayer from any manufacturer defects. The carpet cleaning products normally carry a chemical in them that is a “fabric protector” and this chemical can sometimes cause the hoses on the tanks to become less flexible and brittle. Wand (N224-S) is appropriate for most herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides, unless the product label of what you are using specifically prohibits application with a hand pump sprayer, and it is capable of spraying several feet. That being said, we do not carry a product called Aquatain, so we are not familiar with its application.
