    the valve is beautiful but it is the wrong size for our sprayer. Unfortunately that can't be determined on the internet. It seems that our sprayer was manufactured with a larger valve so this one is usless to us. This is such a simple aparatus that I figured it was an industry standard but I was fooled.

I would like to know what the diameter of the check valve?

The pointy part of the check valve is 1/4 inch across and is what fits in the hole at the bottom of the B&G pump cylinder.  The diameter of the entire circle on the valve is about 7/8 of an inch across.
