Avid 0.15 EC Miticide Insecticide (Group 6 Insecticide) can be used in rotation with Bifen IT (Group 3 insecticide) for Spider Mite control.
Avid 0.15 EC Miticide is should be applied for 2- 3 applications at 7 day intervals at the product label rate of 4 fl oz per 100 gallons of water (0.24 tsps per gallon of water) before rotating to Bifen IT for 2 to 3 applications at 7 day intervals at the rate of 0.25 fl oz to 0.5 fl oz per gallon of water per the product label.
Bifen IT should only be applied to interior cracks and crevices quarterly (where floor meets the wall) and monthly to listed exterior areas as directed.
When using Bifen IT for armyworms irrigation is not necessary. You actually need to try to have no irrigation or rainfall for at least 24 hours after the application. Under chinch bug treatment it does advice that in order to optimize the penetration of the insecticide you can water the area prior to the treatment. If grass is being kept at a long mowing height or if the thatch layer is excessive, use higher volume treatments. It may be necessary to use higher application rates (up to 1 fluid oz. per 1000 square feet) to control populations made up of both adults and nymphs in mid-summer. Complete instructions are on the product label for each pest as well.
Bifen IT can be used as a trench method of termites directly around the foundation for Subterranean Termites and will provide a 1 year barrier protection. Application rates for Bifen IT are 1 fl oz per gallon of water using 4 gallons of mixed solution every 10 linear feet in a 6 in x 6 in trench.
For Termite Trench Treatments, a better product would be Taurus SC as this product lasts in the soil for 10 year barrier protection against termites. Taurus SC is applied at 0.8 fl oz per gallon of water with using 4 gallons of mixed solution every 10 linear feet in a 6 in x 6 in trench.

Bifen IT is labeled for Indian Meal Moths, however, we do not have a product that is labeled to be sprayed in the actual fireplace. You may spray outside edges and surfaces of the fireplace but not inside or in the chimney/flute areas.
Moths are attracted to light sources, including fireplaces therefore it’s a common access point for them to enter the home. An easy way to eliminate Indian Meal Moths in a fireplace would be to simply light a standard to good size fire and let it the fire burn for atleast 20-30 minutes. Heat temps between 120-140 °F is hot enough to kill Indian meal moths. We would recommend reviewing the Indian Meal Moth Treatment Guide for alternative product recommendations and more helpful tips.
Bifen I/T can be used for mound drench application on fire ant colonies in the yard as well as broadcast spraying over the surfaces of the lawn.
Per the ant control and mound drench instructions from the Bifen I/T Product Label:
The best control will be achieved by using broadcast treatments in combination with mound drenches. This will control present colonies along with foraging workers and newly mated flyin queens. It is critical either to use high volume treatments or to irrigate prior to application if the soil is dry. Apply 1 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet when using broadcast treatments. For mound drenches, dilute 1 teaspoon of Bifen I/T per gallon of water and use 1 to 2 gallons of finished dilution using sufficient force to penetrate the top and allow dilution to flood ant 39 channels. Treat a four-foot diameter around each ant mound.
Application should be made in late evening or early morning when it is cooler (65
