    Can Bifen XTS be sprayed on cement siding without staining?
    We have boxelder bugs all over this time of year.

    Bifen XTS does not stain, but you cannot spray as a broadcast over cement. You can only spray over cracks and crevices and you can spot treat on the structure where the boxelder bugs maybe gathering and trying to get in.

    For a 5 gallon hose end sprayer, what is mixing rate for Bifen XTS?
    Have fleas , and lots of them. Want them gone. DEAD! Need the mixing rate for a 5 gallon hose end sprayer. Everything I seen was for a10 gallon hose end sprayer. Please respond soon as possible. Getting eaten alive.

    The mixing ratio for Bifen XTS is .75 fluid ounces per five gallons of water.

    Can you spray Bifen XTS after rainfall?
    A

    As long as the surface you are applying Bifen XTS to is not heavily wet or dripping water, it can be applied.  Generally you want to apply when rain is not expected within 24 hours after application.

    Per the product label for Bifen XTS when treating for armyworms, watering or mowing should be delayed for 24 hours following application.

    Does the Bifen XTS work on army worms in hay fields?

    No, Bifen XTS should not be used in hay fields. We would recommend using Malathion. Be sure to check the label with regards to mixing ratios.

    How do I water in Bifen XTS for Chinch Bugs on a St Augustine lawn?
    I bought some Bifen XTS. I will use it on my St. Augustine lawn to control chinch bugs. My question is: The directions say that after applying the product, that I should water immediately afterward with 0.25 (1/4 inch) of water. How much is 0.25 inches? It is a light spray of water? Or a lot of water? Please advise. Thanks a lot. Blessings !!

    With Bifen XTS, you will water the lawn for approximately 7.5 minutes to achieve a 1/4 inch of water. This will help the product get down into the soil to eliminate the chinch bugs.

    What is the best place to store Bifen XTS? How long is the shelf life?
    Would a storage shed be a good place to store Bifen XTS?
    A

    The best place to store a product like Bifen XTS is in a secure location that is away from extreme heat or cold.  If it is stored in this type of area, the shelf life is 3-5 years from the date of purchase.  A storage shed may or may not be a good location depending on how well the temperature inside the shed is regulated.

    Can I use Bifen XTS on my hibiscus plants & other flowers when I already applied Bayer Advanced 3 in 1?
    Also, I have fruit trees. How far away do I need to be to spray BIFEN XTS on surrounding lawn. Thank you.

    Yes, Bifen XTS can be used on ornamentals, including but not limited to use on flowers. Be sure to wait at least 30 days between applications of different products. Bifen XTS should be sprayed at least 3 feet away from the fruit trees and other edibles.

    Bifen XTS will treat roaches outside but we do not recommend that this product is used indoors or for sole treatment for this species of roaches.     The mixing ratio for Bifen XTS is 0.32 - 0.64 oz. per gallon of water. The setting for a hose end sprayer will depend upon the type of hose end sprayer it is.

    Is Bifen XTS safe for use on potted Hibiscus in 12" pots, dealing with heavy fungus gnat infestation?
    Is it better to use a pitcher (sort of drenching the soil for fungus gnats and plant leaves ridding them of aphids and mealy bugs as well), or a 1 gallon pump sprayer for a lighter misting all over? I have good drainage, watered daily, and fertilized once a week. was thinking about a 1.5 teaspoon (0.25 fl oz) per 2 gallons for heavy infestation.

    Yes, Bifen XTS can be used on potted plants for fungus gnats. It is recommended that you use this product with a gallon pump sprayer. The mixing ratio is .004 -.02 fl oz. per gallon of water. Be sure to apply to the bottoms of the leaves as well. In two gallons of water, you will use .04 fl. oz.

    Which is more stable in direct sunlight, Bifen I/T or Bifen XTS?
    A

    Both Bifen IT and Bifen XTS can be used in areas where there is direct sunlight. Bifen IT is a water-based solution, while Bifen XTS is an oil-based solution. Sometimes one solution is preferred, depending on the target pest, so be sure to check the product labels to make sure you are applying the product appropriately for your needs.

    Will Bifen XTS harm flowers or butterflies?
    A

    Bifen XTS is unlikely to harm flowers if applied according to the label instructions but it is not really selective as far as what insects it controls, so there is a chance that it could harm or kill a butterfly if one were to come into contact with a treated surface.

    How do you mix 2 gallons of Bifen XTS?

    Bifen XTS is mixed at the rate of 0.32 - 0.64 oz. per gallon of water.  If you are making 2 gallons of solution, you will need to use 0.64 - 1.28 oz. of Bifen XTS in 2 gallons of water.

    I want the knockdown power of pyrethrin and the residual action of Bifen XTS? If not, what would be a good product to take care of fleas and ticks in my yard? Thanks

    Yes, you can use Bifen XTS with a pyrethrin such as Exciter. This would give the Bifen XTS a boost for the knockdown power up front that you are looking for.
