I have lost over 20 rose bushes to this disease. I am trying to save the ones that are left. Is there anything I can do, and is Bayer working toward developing a product to eliminate this disease?
Bio Advanced All-In-One Rose and Flower Care will not help with the rose rosette disease and unfortunately, once a rose is infected there is no actual cure for Rose Rosette Disease according to many studies.Pruning of the affected growth is likely of no use as the entire plant is infected by the time the first symptoms can be seen. Additionally, any rose downwind of an affected rose is at risk, and the only true cure is the removal of the affected rose. We would suggest reaching out to the Master Gardener at your local county extension office for more information on controlling this disease.
