The Bird Barrier Bird Flite Wide 5 in. Spikes (Per Foot) (bp - f200) is one of the simplest yet most effective bird deterrents to install. It comes in 12-inch sections that has 5 inches width and is specifically created for 4-7 inch ledges. It’s made from marine-grade stainless steel and heavy-duty UV stabilized polycarbonate and it’s designed to repel aggressive pigeons and gulls.
One of the featured highlights of Bird-Flite is leaving the space between rows of the product, and between the back row and wall unprotected. Tips can be placed up to 2 inches apart, and the tips of the rods can be up to 2-inch from the back wall.
The base can be glued or screwed easily into window sills, ledges, signs, steel beams, chimneys, pipes, roof peaks, and more. It is thin enough so it’s not visible even from short distances, making it virtually disappear. You can glue it using Bird Barrier Bond which is preferred by many because it’s faster and more secure. However, if you prefer installing it using nails or screws, pre-drilled holes are available for your convenience.
