Bird Barrier Bird Scare Octopus (sd-oc10) is a visual bird scare in a shape of octopus that effectively keep pest birds away from a site. It is a reflective device that highlights big scare eyes, along with long mylar streamers that flashes blazingly when sunlight hits it. A movement from the wind will set the octopus in motion that will make them spin and dance around. When it does, sun rays will reflect to it and create brilliant flashing. This signals danger to birds as well as distracts them, causing them to leave as soon as possible.
Bird Barrier Bird Scare Octopus is ideal to put up before crops start to ripen. Place it above the crops that need to be protected. You can take it out after harvesting. Though for persistent bird problems, you might need to use this with other bird deterrent products.
