The Bird Barrier Goose Guard Kit (sd-gs10) helps you to prevent geese from invading your space and messing around on your premises with this lifelike decoy of a dead goose. It can be place on land or on water for the geese to be alarmed and aware that an intruder is near or in the area. The decoy is placed in “agony” position and once seen by others, they will be convinced that a predator is nearby and just leave the area. To make it more effective, you place a minium of two decoys depending on how you use the product and the size of the area.

Great so Far!

We are in a commercial park and have had lots of problems with geese. They make such a mess so I wasn't sure if these would work or not, but decided to give them a try. I put two decoys out at the entrance to our building, and we have had no geese for two full weeks, even though I see them on adjoining properties.

Goose decoys

Trying to keep geese out of your yard is a really tough thing to do and we are unaware of any method that is 100% effective. Most of the liquid repellents have been taken off the market or are not in production any longer. We would recommend the Bird Barrier Goose Guard. The "injured" decoy gives the impression there is a predator or another animal on the property that will harm them, therefore keeping geese away from the area. Another option our customers have found useful is the ScareCrow Sprinkler Motion Activated Animal Deterrent, which sprays the geese with a stream of water when they walk into off limit areas.
