I have had very good luck with this product in my flower beds and plantings. It has gotten rid of the invading grasses and weeds without harming the perennials.

It is too early to see the final results but I used two container on about 16000 sqft and it took maybe a week but it did kill the bermuda grass and did not damage the oriental jazzman ground cover. Still waiting to see what else it will kill. Some of the things I call weeds is probably a type of grass it does not kill. Now I am considering something else that kills weeds, not grass or jazzman.

Actually, I have not had time to use the product I recently received from Do My Own because of all the rain we have been having. However, I have used this identical product from another source, and it was very good in killing bermuda in my centipede grass. It was more convenient and cheaper to order from Do My Own. With bermuda in centipede, sometimes it is necessary to make a second application of Grass Beater. Grass Beater also worked in my vinca bed to kill the bermuda and caused no damage to the vinca. This is good product.

This stuff kills the grass, and only the grass, if you follow the labeled instructions. Results take a full two weeks to be apparent. If you don't follow the directions, or fail to use a spreader sticker, you will have wasted your time and money. First application at perennial rate took out all annual, fescue and rye grasses. Bluegrass needed a second application. This only kills grass, all broadleaf and sedges live on.

I had long grass growing up through a really nice ground cover I wanted to keep. I ordered the Bonide grass killer and it appears to be doing a great job of killing the grass and not my ground cover. I applied it a few weeks ago and wanted to be sure it was working before I submitted this.
