    Will Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate treat shothole?
    A

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is not labeled for use on shothole. Instead we would recommend Fertilome Broad Spectrum Landscape and Garden Fungicide. This product is labeled for shothole and other broad spectrum fungus care needs.

    How would I mix Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate to spray for quince rust?
    A

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is not specifically labeled for use on quince.  We would recommend using Fertilome Triple Action with Neem Oil. This product is a fungicide, miticide and insecticide all in one. It is safe for use on edibles and can be used to treat for quince rust. The mixing rate is 1 fl oz per gallon of water, and it can be used every 14 days as needed.

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is not labeled to be mixed with other fungicides or insecticides. We do carry another product called Fertilome Triple Action with 70% Neem Oil that works as an all-in-one insecticide, fungicide and miticide.

    How much Mancozeb per gallon of water for tomato plants?
    A

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is mixed at the rate of 0.88 to 1.76 fl oz per 1000 sq.ft. for use for bacterial speck and spot on tomatoes per the product label.  The amount of water is not set but should be sufficient enough to provide thorough coverage.

    Can Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate product be used to control leaf curl on peaches and scale on apples?

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is labeled to treat scab on apples, but it is not labeled to be used on peaches.  Bonide Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate  is labeled for both apple scab and peach leaf curl.

    I have what looks like fungus on squash and zucchini leaves. Will Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate help them?

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is a broad spectrum fungicide for use on a wide variety of ornamentals and vegetables.  Without knowing exactly which disease you have, we can't say with certainty that it will treat your problem.  It is not labeled to be used on zucchini.  We recommend speaking with a master gardener at your local extension office to attempt to identify which fungal disease you may be dealing with so that we can make an accurate product recommendation.

    Can Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate be applied as a soil drench to camellias?
    A

     Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate needs to be sprayed directly on the infected plant as directed on the label. Without knowing what disease you are targeting, we are not able to make an alternative recommendation.

    For a positive identification of the disease, we would recommend contacting your Master Gardener with the Cooperative Extension Office directly for assistance.

    Can Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate be used for a fungicide treatment on willow trees?

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate does not list willow trees as tolerant for this product. Depending on the disease you are treating, you can spray with an approved fixed copper fungicide such as Bonide Liquid Copper Fungicide.

    Please view the Bonide Copper Fungicide product label for more information and rates depending on the disease you are targeting.

    How soon after I spray Bonide Mancozeb on my Miss Kim Lilacs can my puppies return to the area?

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is pet safe if used as directed on the product label.  Make sure that pets are removed from the area being treated, and once the application has completely dried, it is then safe for your pets to re-enter the treated area.  Typically after 4-6 hours.

    The pamphlet that comes with the bottle of concentrate is very difficult to decipher.

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate will treat botrytis blossom blight and phytophthora blight on peonies applied at 0.88 oz per gal of water or 0.88 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft. 

    Per the product label, apply in early spring and early fall, drenching soil around plants as well as the foliage. Promptly destory all infected plant parts.
