    Is Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate the same as Dithane 945?
    I found Dithane 945 listed on the web to prevent potato blight, but it seems to be available only in the UK.

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate and Dithane are not the same exact product but they do share the same main active ingredient Mancozeb and both are labeled for potato blight.

    I have rust and black spots on my red tips and would like to use Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate to control it.
    Is this a good idea, bad idea? it is probably several years old.

    Yes, Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is labeled for both black spot and rust on ornamental plants. For ornamental plants such as roses, you would use 3 tsp of Bonide Mancozeb Concentrate per gallon of water.  If your Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate was stored in a temperature stable environment, meaning not subject to freezing or very high temperatures the shelf life is 3 – 5 years.

    The product instructions are very confusing. What is the dilution rate/gal for apple trees?
    A
    The rate for Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is not set per gallon but per area. The mixing rate is 1 fl oz per gallon of water, and it can be used every 14 days as needed. You would apply in sufficient water to provide thorough coverage.  Typically 1 gallon can cover 1000 sqft but it could take more depending on equipment used and walking speed. The dilution rate of each product will depend on the type of plants you are treating and the specific disease, so be sure that you read each product label completely before mixing and applying this product.

    What is the per gallon rate for Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate for grapes in Kentucky?
    A

    The rate for Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is not set per gallon but per area, per he product label on grapes East of the Rockies you would use 0.88 to 2.35 fl oz per 1000 sqft.  You would apply in sufficient water to provide thorough coverage.  Typically 1 gallon can cover 1000 sqft but it could take more depending on equipment used and walking speed.

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc is not labeled for use on hydrangeas. We do carry Bonide Fungonil which is labeled for powdery mildew on hydrangeas.

    What should I use for shot hole on old english laurel?
    My front shrubs are suffering from shot hole disease due to extremely wet summer and past winter .Will Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate take care of this disease?

    While the label for Bonide Mancozeb Flowable does not prohibit mixing it with other fungicides, we recommend doing a small jar test for compatability before mixing a larger tank or spraying your plants with this mixture. The dilution rate of each product will depend on the type of plants you are treating and the specific disease, so be sure that you read each product label completely before mixing and applying either of these products.

    Can you use Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate for phomopsis blight on a juniper shrub?

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is not labeled for phomopsis blight on a juniper shrub. 
    Propiconazole 14.3,  is labeled for juniper phomopsis blight and a few other blights on ornamental plants. For phomopsis blight, make the first application as soon as the junipers start to grow, and repeat the applications every 14-21 days during periods of active growth.

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is not authorized to mix with other products as it does not due well due to chemistry. Bonide Systemic Insect Control also should not be mixed with others.

    How soon can I pick tomatoes after spraying with Mancozeb?

    Per the manufacturers label for Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate, do not apply within 5 days of harvest.  After your last application wait 5 days before harvesting.  Do not apply product more than seven times per year.

    Main things - Zinc and Nitrogen. Is this what I need?

    Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate is a broad spectrum fungicide for use on a wide variety of ornamentals and vegetables. Controls diseases including leaf spot, downy mildew, blights, anthracnose, botrytis and others listed on the label. If you are looking for a fertilizer or nutrients for your pecan tree you might be looking for something like Hi-Yeild Zinc Sulfate or the Ferti-Lome Fruit, Citrus and Pecan Tree Food 19-10-5.

    As stated on the product label of Bonide Mancozeb Flowable with Zinc Concentrate, "The addition of an agricultural surfactant will improve fungicide performance by providing a more uniform spray deposit, increased foliar redistribution, and improved fungicide retention during periods of wet weather." Please be sure to review the product label for complete application instructions before use. Also, to add the surfactant, you will need to follow the instructions on the label for the one that you select to use.
