    Q
I know bora-care is bad for vegetation but what about over-spray or close proximity use?
I know bora-care is bad for vegetation but I needed to spray a raw, non-pressure treated trellis that's in close proximity (next to) a wild grapevine. I didn't spray directly onto it, but since the spray function probably has some unavoidable over-spray, how sensitive is vegetation likely to be in this scenario?
    A

If BoraCare is oversprayed onto vegetation, it is possible the plant(s) will die. It is recommended to prevent overspray by using tarps to cover the area, spraying on a non-windy day, at least 10 feet away from edible vegetation, and avoiding runoff to these areas. Any edible vegetation that comes into contact with this product should be discarded. Please be sure to review the product label for more information.

    Q
If overspray occurs while applying Bora-Care, is it necessary to clean those surfaces in which people may come into contact with?
    A
Bora-Care can be applied by spraying, painting or brushing onto surfaces. In areas where overspray is a concern, it is recommended to cover any unwanted areas or apply the treatment by brushing or painting directly onto the surface. If overspray should occur, you will need to clean and wipe those surfaces to remove any residual.

    Q
Will Boracare overspray affect stained sealed concrete floor and granite countertops?
We put rough cut pine trim all in our barn home and realized it had powder beetles. A pest control sprayed all the wood. Came today and treated with Boracare. Our stained sealed concrete floor and granite counter tops and painted cabinets had spray on them and floor had lots of spay puddled on it. Will it affect any of these? New construction.
    A

If Boracare overspray got onto any finished surfaces, then should be able to clean those areas with warm, soapy water to remove any Boracare residual. The Boracare will not be absorbed into wood, concrete, or other surfaces that are finished, so it should be easy to wash off.

    Q
Is Bora-Care corrosive/harmful to metal siding?
It will be applied to wood stud walls in a barn that have steel metal siding attached.
    A
Bora-Care is a non-corrosive product that can be applied to raw wood. You would want to protect non-target surfaces with a tarp or drop cloth, or wash any Boracare overspray with soap and water.
