Works great! Boyfriend loves it and this is a man who owns many different types of guns from rifles, shotguns, and handguns. It's quick to load, easy to fire and the distance is good. He even killed a few hornets (even with their outta hard shell). He is not easy to please on gifts but this gift sure gave me a 5 star girlfriend rating so your product deserves the same. Fun When It Works

As the title says it's a fun toy to use to shoot pests like flies and spiders. However after cocking it doesn't always 'fire' and the pest gets away. After re-pumping and resetting the 'safety' it will 'usually' fire. For $50 I didn't expect a 'Quality' item. With that said I'm fairly pleased with the Bug-A-Salt

Bug-a-Salt Gun

This works great on flies and millers, moths, any kind of bug. Being an older female, it is a little difficult for me to pull the slide back, but with practice, I can do it--I find my middle finger works better on the trigger--I have more strength. But it is worth the trouble to practice in order to get those darn flies and bugs that are out of reach! With cats in the house, they are safe with the "salt" ammunition! It is also a great conversation piece to have on hand!

Good but not Great

I bought this for my brother whose house gets tons of flys. He was so excited, but was a little less enthusiastic upon use. It's more like 2 feet of effective range, not 3. Not as cool as expected, but still more fun than a conventional fly swatter. No regrets.
